Our Story
Where the journey becomes wine
There are places where getting lost is a privilege, and the Jewish Quarter of Vejer de la Frontera is undoubtedly one of them. It was among these labyrinthine streets of whitewashed walls and Atlantic views that our paths crossed.
Manzanilla Boutique Guesthouse was born from the shared dream of Ana María Marín, Joaquín Alfaro and Mario Ojeda. Joaquín and Mario, from La Judería de Vejer, found in Ana the perfect partner to take the leap into hospitality. United by our experience in hospitality, technology and tourism management, we decided to bring to life a project that would combine our greatest passions: absolute comfort, conscious design and, above all, the culture of Andalusian wine.
After a complete renovation of the building on Calle Rosario 25, Manzanilla opened its doors in August 2021.

Where the south is lived slowly
They say you arrive in Vejer… but never by chance.
Ana too had travelled the world before crossing paths with La Judería de Vejer, and it was here that she decided to combine her experience in lifestyle hospitality, her international perspective and her love of detail with the world of wine, the south and the good moments shared.
From that encounter Manzanilla was born — a project created with care, together with the Hannun design team, where every space was conceived to feel lived-in, and to enjoy the pleasure of simplicity.
Like the wine that gives it its name, Manzanilla is character, joy and a small ode to those moments best enjoyed without haste… especially in Cádiz.
But if anything gives meaning to all of this, it is not just the places — it is the people.
Today, César, Montse, Inés and Ana form a small family that shares the same idea: to care for every stay as if it were unique, and to welcome you the way we like to be welcomed ourselves.
Here we don't just manage spaces.

We support the Andalusian ecosystem — from the building materials to our wine cellar, composed entirely of wines from small local producers.
